Postgraduate studies

I entered university because I had to do something with my life, I'm kidding, in fact I entered because I had a great passion for keep learning, and I choose chemistry because it was the subject where I was better, so my main motive is learn the most of the things (that I like, of course). So, if I ever take a postgraduate course, the reason will be to keep learning, probably.

Theoretical chemistry subjects
There are three subjects that I like the most: analytical chemistry, theoretical chemistry and environmental chemistry, in that order. Analytical chemistry, because the same reason of the first paragraph: "because it was the subject where I was better" and some people tell me that the payment is very great 😉. Theoretical chemistry, because I found very interesting the chemical foundations like the theory of the molecular orbital, molecular structures, etc. And last but not least, environmental chemistry, because nowadays the environmental contamination is dangerous and we need to solve these problems.

I prefer to study in a foreign country because many reasons, like better equipment, new people to meet ,etc. On second thought, I don't really care, the first to happen, Chile or abroad. I would like to study traditionally (?). Until now, I'm doing well this stuff of being a student like this so a different study probably makes things harder.

Just a simple life

The expectations of my future job is really boring, but is because it's focus on have a stable lifestyle. I only want to have enough money to supplies my needs and a little extra to spend on stuff that I like. So I don't have in mind a job by the moment, as long as I can be stable with it, but I can imagine some areas that I probably could work on it, like in a laboratory helping in an important project or my owns, or doing some field tests, work in the mining industry. I don't know, whatever, but related to my major. I prefer to work indoors, because almost my whole major's stuff is in indoors, and also because I get easily disturb by loud noises.

I would like to travel in my job, who doesn't? is like paid holidays, if you enjoy your job. I don't have an ambition about the salary, like I said before just what is necessary. As you can guess, my major is related with laboratories and industries, do you know already? yes, I'm studying Chemistry, and I'm doing on purpose.

One last thing to add, the most of the people, the first thing they say when i tell em my major is: "oh, so you're going to be a teacher?". If you are one of these people, I forgive you, don't worry, I don't know your professional fields either. But I don't really want to be a teacher because I'm very bad at teach.

Beats to study/chill/relax...

I already wrote about my favourite band on this blog before, so this time I'm going to write about a "type" of music that I listen to a lot lately. Have you ever seen while you're on YouTube a type of videos (or livestreams mostly) titled "music/beats/whatever to study/chill/relax/whatever", well I did and I still doing it. At the first time it was curiosity (I started to open the livestreams and let the songs plays), but with the time I started to listen it more often, until I started to known the artists who make this songs.

This songs are defined as LoFi, who is an abbreviation of low fidelity, who in other words is songs with low quality. But the songs doesn't sound bad, is like low quality on purpose to give an atmosphere of nostalgia. The artists of this "genre" (I don't even know if this could be considered as a genre) aren't so popular and have names really weirds "Elijah who", "The Deli" and "Shiloh" are some examples.

I hear this songs, as the title of the videos and livestreams says, while I'm studying and when I'm chillin in my room doing nothing because the songs make me feel calm, and lately I liked a lot this stuff because compensates the stress of the University labors.

The Dancing Clown

I have to admit that when I was a kid I suffered the horror movies, specially the "Final Destination" franchise, I was a very fearful child, I mean, I was afraid to the dark. Until now, i did overcome the most of my fears and one of them is the horror movies in general and it's started with "It" of the 2017, and it was the best way to start over again with horror movies.

Like I said before this is an horror movie which takes place in a little town called Derry on the state of Maine, USA (fiction of course). The story occurs on the 80's decade (between 1988 and 1989 more specifically) and it's about a unknown being who it's well called "it", and it's terrorizing the kids of the town cause some reason. But a group of kids confront it, one of those kids is Bill Denbrough, portrayed by Jaeden Martell, who has a very strong reason to confront it cause he lost his beloved little brother. "It" takes the form of the thing you are more afraid of, and usually takes the form of a clown known as Pennywise, portrayed by Bill Skarsgård.

I like this movie because I feel like it closed a phase of me being scared of horror movies, because after of saw the movie I started to watch a lot of horror films.
