What is my opinion about... ?

The Chilean tradition called ‘mechoneo’.-
I endorse to the idea of have a tradition at the begining of a university cycle, but not the way they do that. I think that a better way to do that it's not should be focus on the humiliation of the new students but rather on them enjoyment. When I was in my second year in the university, there was a "color run" in a mechoneo, see? that's what I'm talking about, we've to do fun activities of that kind, because is like a last activity of the scholar cycle.

Legalizing abortion in some cases.-
I don't know why this still being a theme, I think it's just a matter of logic. Because a human being have to be able to decide on his own body, not matter about the "type" of human. And also some people shouldn't be able to be parents, in addition to the demographic growth. There are a lot of problematics that aiming to "stop make babies".

Recycling.-
I think, the way that is the world now, recycling is not more a decision, is an obligation nowadays. We, as a soceity, have to admit the enviromental problem and solve it, of course. There is a lot of studies and test that aiming to "dude, the world is about to end", and out there are still people who don't believe that. That's why I think the peolple who know the truth (or just know what the studies means) have the obligation of save the planet, and not just recycling (I'm talking about global warming).

And last but not least, Legalizing marijuana and other drugs.-
Ok, first of all, I admit that I consume marijuana recreationally, so I think you already know my position about this, I disagree. I'm joking, I'm totally agree about legalizing marijuana. And that's because I have read from various sources about the marijuana and his prohibition, and the reason of many of his "myths". As "the marijuana kill your neurons", fake, because the study where that theory came out was with monkeys testing, and the procedure was, in a nutshell, suffocating the monkeys with marijuana smoke, so them neurons died because lack of oxygen. And a lot of stuff like that, like the prohibition was for keep someone job, etc. Well that's my opinion about marijuana, but for the other drugs, I think it could be more efficient teach about drugs to people, so they know more about them and their harm, than banning them.

What would I have studied?

Well, actually my second option of major was Chemistry, my first option was Biochemistry and I could only choose two options of majors because some bureaucratic problem, but if I could have been choose a third one it maybe have been Physics or something related to. So I would have studied Biochemistry if I weren't studying my major.

The reason that I wanted to study Biochemistry is kind of dumb and childish, is basically because I was good at chemistry and biology at school and I was like: "Yeah, one plus one is equal to two, why not?". And the same reason for the third option, I was following my instinct and the logic of " if I'm good at that, probably I should keep doing that".

I don't regret my fate, because I realized that in the biology subjects it is normal to memorize the subject matter. And I always was terrible at memorizing things, since the multiplication tables to the philosophical quotes of Platón and Aristóteles. But I'm really good inventing things like rhymes or phrases to remember things.

It's kind of funny the opinion that I have nowadays, because looking in hindsight I really had a change of mind. Lately I have been very interested in the major of Food Engineering, because all the diverse applications they have. And always (or mostly) they have expositions where there's free food for tasting.

Postgraduate studies

I entered university because I had to do something with my life, I'm kidding, in fact I entered because I had a great passion for keep learning, and I choose chemistry because it was the subject where I was better, so my main motive is learn the most of the things (that I like, of course). So, if I ever take a postgraduate course, the reason will be to keep learning, probably.

Theoretical chemistry subjects
There are three subjects that I like the most: analytical chemistry, theoretical chemistry and environmental chemistry, in that order. Analytical chemistry, because the same reason of the first paragraph: "because it was the subject where I was better" and some people tell me that the payment is very great 😉. Theoretical chemistry, because I found very interesting the chemical foundations like the theory of the molecular orbital, molecular structures, etc. And last but not least, environmental chemistry, because nowadays the environmental contamination is dangerous and we need to solve these problems.

I prefer to study in a foreign country because many reasons, like better equipment, new people to meet ,etc. On second thought, I don't really care, the first to happen, Chile or abroad. I would like to study traditionally (?). Until now, I'm doing well this stuff of being a student like this so a different study probably makes things harder.

Just a simple life

The expectations of my future job is really boring, but is because it's focus on have a stable lifestyle. I only want to have enough money to supplies my needs and a little extra to spend on stuff that I like. So I don't have in mind a job by the moment, as long as I can be stable with it, but I can imagine some areas that I probably could work on it, like in a laboratory helping in an important project or my owns, or doing some field tests, work in the mining industry. I don't know, whatever, but related to my major. I prefer to work indoors, because almost my whole major's stuff is in indoors, and also because I get easily disturb by loud noises.

I would like to travel in my job, who doesn't? is like paid holidays, if you enjoy your job. I don't have an ambition about the salary, like I said before just what is necessary. As you can guess, my major is related with laboratories and industries, do you know already? yes, I'm studying Chemistry, and I'm doing on purpose.

One last thing to add, the most of the people, the first thing they say when i tell em my major is: "oh, so you're going to be a teacher?". If you are one of these people, I forgive you, don't worry, I don't know your professional fields either. But I don't really want to be a teacher because I'm very bad at teach.

Beats to study/chill/relax...

I already wrote about my favourite band on this blog before, so this time I'm going to write about a "type" of music that I listen to a lot lately. Have you ever seen while you're on YouTube a type of videos (or livestreams mostly) titled "music/beats/whatever to study/chill/relax/whatever", well I did and I still doing it. At the first time it was curiosity (I started to open the livestreams and let the songs plays), but with the time I started to listen it more often, until I started to known the artists who make this songs.

This songs are defined as LoFi, who is an abbreviation of low fidelity, who in other words is songs with low quality. But the songs doesn't sound bad, is like low quality on purpose to give an atmosphere of nostalgia. The artists of this "genre" (I don't even know if this could be considered as a genre) aren't so popular and have names really weirds "Elijah who", "The Deli" and "Shiloh" are some examples.

I hear this songs, as the title of the videos and livestreams says, while I'm studying and when I'm chillin in my room doing nothing because the songs make me feel calm, and lately I liked a lot this stuff because compensates the stress of the University labors.

The Dancing Clown

I have to admit that when I was a kid I suffered the horror movies, specially the "Final Destination" franchise, I was a very fearful child, I mean, I was afraid to the dark. Until now, i did overcome the most of my fears and one of them is the horror movies in general and it's started with "It" of the 2017, and it was the best way to start over again with horror movies.

Like I said before this is an horror movie which takes place in a little town called Derry on the state of Maine, USA (fiction of course). The story occurs on the 80's decade (between 1988 and 1989 more specifically) and it's about a unknown being who it's well called "it", and it's terrorizing the kids of the town cause some reason. But a group of kids confront it, one of those kids is Bill Denbrough, portrayed by Jaeden Martell, who has a very strong reason to confront it cause he lost his beloved little brother. "It" takes the form of the thing you are more afraid of, and usually takes the form of a clown known as Pennywise, portrayed by Bill Skarsgård.

I like this movie because I feel like it closed a phase of me being scared of horror movies, because after of saw the movie I started to watch a lot of horror films.

One of my Most Memorable Holidays

About some years ago, I don't remember when exactly but I think it was on the 2017, with a group of friends (within 11 or 12) we plan a travel to the beach. This we did it after a hard semester, so it was one of the best vacations I have ever had.

I hope this kind of stuff happen again.
To make things better, we got together a weekend before the trip to organize everything we had to take and we were going to need it on the beach. As sometimes happen, this meeting ended in a drunkenness of those, although in spite of everything, we managed to have a civilized meeting for 10 minutes and that was just and necessary.

We spend 3 days in the grandfather's house of a friend in which things happened that probably shouldn't be counted, but the important thing is that they were a nice vacation.
I will never forget the second day, because we walk until the beach in the afternoon and then we take this pic.

The Green Country

Hi, it's been a while since the last post, but let me begin with the country I'd like to visit. So, don't you think that the Netherlands is nice? I think it is very nice. In a possible future I'd like to visit the Netherlands and see the beautiful natural landscapes that it has, and the stylish cities.

I don't really know much about the Netherlands, but the little thing I know about the Netherlands is that in its cities there are many parks and much green in general. I'd really like to rest there, and I mean really rest, and take some walks around the parks of the cities or the landscapes, and stay chill during my visit. I'd like to live there and maybe get some easy jobs over there, but not study or do some important work that needs my entire concentration, because I'd like to take in the country easily.

I have heard some rumours that its capital, Amsterdam, is a great place to go to party, so maybe when I visit that country, more specific the capital, I will not be alone.
